Bob Thune
Lead Pastor/Elder
After prior stints as a college pastor in Omaha and as a missionary to college students in Austin, Texas, Bob led a small band of people to envision and plant the Coram Deo Church Community in the fall of 2005. His teaching and leadership connect Scripture and culture, making the contours of Christian spirituality accessible to the skeptical, the critical, and the doubtful. Bob is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and Reformed Theological Seminary.
Bob primarily plays the “prophetic” role within Coram Deo: preaching, vision, strategy, and theological leadership. In his spare time, you can find him on the basketball court, in the coffee shop with a philosophy book in hand, on a date with his wife, or wrestling in the living room with his four kids. He takes great hope in the fact that though he is a great sinner, Christ is a great Savior.
Dusty White
Pastor/Elder
Dusty grew up in Omaha and came to know the gospel of Jesus through the missional influence of a neighbor family. He was converted to Christ in high school and then attended Crown College, where he met his wife Jaci. Prior to joining the staff of Coram Deo, he served as a discipleship pastor in Omaha and a college pastor in the Bay Area of California. Dusty and Jaci have three children and a fourth on the way.
Dusty primarily plays the “priestly” role within Coram Deo: discipleship, counseling, and leadership coaching. In his spare time he enjoys coaching youth sports, hanging out with his wife and kids, and lamenting the lack of really good coffee shops in Omaha.

Justin Curtis
Pastor/Elder
Not long ago, Justin was enjoying life as a teacher/athletic trainer in the Millard Public School district. Through the Coram Deo community, he and his wife Tracy came to know and love Jesus. And then two things began to happen: God began to give him a strong desire toward church planting, and the Coram Deo elders began to recognize and affirm his spiritual gifts as a leader and teacher. In the summer of 2008, Justin made a career change and became Coram Deo's first church planting resident. (Like a medical residency, CD's church planting residency seeks to develop a well-qualified but inexperienced man into a seasoned and effective church planter through "on-the-job training.") Justin was installed as a pastor/elder in 2010. He primarily plays the “kingly” role, overseeing missional communities and creating systems and pathways for spiritual formation.
Justin and Tracy are both graduates of the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In their spare time, they love exercise, the outdoors, and spending time with their daughters Nya and Leah. It may take Justin the rest of his life to exhaust his infinite athletic-trainer wardrobe of nylon pants and wind jackets.

Kevin Huddleston
Pastoral Assistant
Kevin first came to Coram Deo as a skeptical college student. Through immersion in missional community, he went from “the guy who asks lots of questions about Jesus” to “follower of Jesus.” After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 2009 with a Master’s Degree in Architectural Engineering, he joined the staff of Coram Deo.
Kevin’s primary role is to assist the pastors by overseeing the day-to-day details of ministry and organizing the chaos of a missional church-planting movement. In his spare time he enjoys reading, music, and futbol (that’s soccer to you ignorant Americans).
Mike Kresnik
Communications Director
In addition to his “other job,” Mike works as a contract employee for Coram Deo directing everything from graphic design to media management to website maintenance. He is a graduate of Grace University and is married to Jenny, who is way out of his league. In his spare time, Mike stays busy chasing his three kids and listening to good music.
